Elizabeth Trujillo (b. 1981) is a professional trumpet player and private instructor living in Los Angeles.   She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Louisville and a Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts.   Elizabeth has studied and performed a wide variety of musical styles, including traditional music of the British brass bands with the Salvation Army.   In addition to multiple solo performances, Elizabeth has performed with orchestras, wind ensembles, brass quintets, brass bands, jazz bands, free improvisation ensembles, and a variety of chamber groups. Her performances have taken her throughout the United States and Brazil.   

            Elizabeth is known in the creative music circles as a musician whose work has included tape music, live electronics, video, choreography and collaborations with costume designers, lighting designers and composers.   This young, up and coming trumpeter can be found performing such works as: Sequenza X by Luciano Berio, Emotion by Antoine Tisné, La mort de l'aigle by Michael Blake Watkins, Solus by Stanley Friedman and Heraldiques by Antoine Tisné.   Look for her debut album in the summer of 2006.
